Saudi Aramco has discovered two new oil and gas fields in the north of the kingdom, the state news agency reported, citing the Minister of Oil, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
Condensate-rich gas began to flow from the Hadabat Al-Hajara field at an average rate of 16 million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to 1,944 barrels of condensate. Some 3,000 barrels per day of crude also began to flow from the Abraq at-Tulul field, in addition to 1.1 million standard cubic feet per day of gas and 49,000 barrels of condensate per day.
Aramco will continue to assess and drill additional wells in both fields to assess the amounts of crude, gas and condensate.
