A man in his 60s has been found dead in west London with another man arrested on suspicion of murder.
Emergency services were called to Monsted House on Samara Drive, Southall, on Wednesday morning.
Officers found the body of the man, believed to be in his 60s, and are now searching for his next of kin.
They are treating the death as suspicious.
A 54-year-old man from Southall was arrested on suspicion of murder and preventing a lawful burial.
He remains in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie said: ‘We are in the very early stages of our investigation and my team of experienced detectives and forensic specialists are working at pace to establish the circumstances of this death.
‘I can understand that this may be concerning for the community in Southall, who can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as we begin our investigation.’
