Olivia Rodrigo confirms her third studio album is in progress

Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo confirmed on her TikTok page that her third studio album is in progress.

The announcement came on Oct. 11 in a video, partnering with American Express Platinum, which sees Rodrigo back in the studio after being on the road for her recent “GUTS” World Tour.

“Now, I’m home and I’m working on my new album,” she revealed casually, between stories about Cambio card game tournaments with her band and her favorite studio meals.

She also shared how live reactions to certain songs at the “GUTS” World Tour has influenced the way she writes.

The third studio album update was not the only announcement dropped in the video. Rodrigo also stated that she has worked with American Express on many special performances and teased another one coming soon.

“But I won’t give too much away,” she says.

While the singer is eager to discuss her favorite studio meals in detail – burritos during “SOUR,” cheese tacos during “GUTS” and salmon during this third album – no further details are confirmed for the album colloquially known as “OR3.”

Rodrigo’s latest album, “Live in Gastonbury: A BBC Recording,” is a live album set to be released Dec. 5, 2025. It includes collaborations with The Cure’s Robert Smith on iconic Cure songs “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven.”
