A New York nurse has mysteriously vanished after going on a jet ski in Thailand.

Nina Ng, 37, rented a jet ski in the island of Phuket on Thursday afternoon and disappeared shortly after, ViralPress reported.

Ng’s jet ski was found and ‘her belongings and life jacket were on it’ but she was nowhere to be seen, the jet ski rental operator Saranuwat Nasok told ViralPress.

‘I asked a boat driver working in the area, and he said he saw the tourist take off her life jacket to jump into the water,’ said Nasok.

‘Several years ago, Ms Ng left the hospital setting in the United States in order to dedicate more of her time to humanitarian aid,’ stated the charity.
