Up to 200,000 soldiers have been killed or wounded since Russia invaded Ukraine, the US’s top general has said.
Both sides have lost 100,000 troops each in the nine-month war, which has also cost 40,000 Ukrainian civilians their lives, said Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
