The wait for BTS’ grand return just got more exciting.
The world’s biggest boy band is gearing up for their long-awaited return, and this time, they’re adding a dash of LA sunshine and a familiar American collaborator into the mix.
Recently, BTS’ member J-Hope surprised fans with an Instagram drop that instantly sent the ARMY positively crazy with a caption, “I’m out LA.”

The post featured a carousel of moments from BTS’ recent trip to Los Angeles: beach strolls, casual hangouts and, most notably, late nights in the recording studio.
The final clip revealed an unexpected guest, Charlie Puth, spinning a fidget toy while Jungkook laughed beside him.

The scene instantly ignited speculation. Could a follow-up to Jungkook and Charlie’s 2022 single “Left and Right” be on the way?

Neither camp has confirmed, but the chemistry in that short clip spoke volumes.
This LA gathering marks a significant moment for BTS. With all seven members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, now finished with their mandatory military service, they’re finally free to focus on creating music together again.
Their 2026 plans have already been teased which is said to be a brand-new album, a globe-spanning tour and the long-overdue sight of the entire group sharing one stage.
Still, the road to their comeback is a careful balance. Jin is currently on a solo tour, and the members have hinted that coordinating schedules isn’t always easy.
But the dedication remains unwavering. In a recent Weverse livestream, J-Hope told fans, “I’m working really hard, we all are. We’re keeping healthy and working hard. So it’d be great if you look forward to what’s coming,” as reported by Sportskeeda.
In a livestream last July, Jimin said during the broadcast, “Hey guys, we are back.” The group followed with another major reveal, “We’re also planning a world tour alongside the album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
The upcoming album will be BTS’ first group release since “BE” in 2020, and the tour will mark their first global concert series since “Permission to Dance” on Stage.
