A Catholic monk accused of sexually harassing visitors to a private island off the coast of Wales allegedly assaulted a single mother on a beach in an ‘absolute violation’.
Brother Titus Keet allegedly sexually assaulted holidaymakers on Caldey Island as well as taking and sharing photos of himself naked.
Keet, 78, avoided prosecution in February for sending some 200 explicit photos to Lisa Love, after insisting the pictures were ‘spiritually motivated’.
The monk is now facing fresh claims from a single mother who claims she was repeatedly assaulted by him while she was taking a walk on a beach on the secluded island off the coast of Tenby, Pembrokeshire.
Natalie Roberts, who has wavered her right to anonymity, said Keet sneaked up behind her before harassing her over her clothes.

She told the BBC’s Dark Island podcast the horrific experience ‘took away my whole spiritual belief in Catholicism’.
Keet has denied Ms Roberts’ allegations, suggesting the mother became ‘wickedly against him’ after he had rejected her advances towards him, but added he would reflect on his conduct.
An unnamed Caldey Island employee alleged that Keet had touched and commented on her body, while telling her she should feel lucky to be be receiving such sexual attention from him.
When she said she would report his behavior, he threatened her with losing her job.
Keet said the employee had made up the allegations and responded with a biblical quote from Apostle Paul in the New Testament: ‘To all who are pure themselves, everything is pure; but to those who have been corrupted and lack faith, nothing can be pure.’
He insisted the pair had ‘co-operated very pleasantly together’ over three years.
The monk avoided prosecution over images sent to Ms Love in February after the CPS accepted his suggestion the pictures were of a spiritual nature.
The 55-year-old mother accused the CPS of siding with Keet because of his religious status, who she had befriended after meeting him 15 years ago.
Despite admitting to being ‘naïve’, Keet claimed the pictures were ‘art’ to show ‘my body in the light’.
Keet was barred from the island in 2024 and is thought to be now living in Belgium.
Six women settled a civil claim in 2017 following allegations they had been sexually abused as children by monk Thaddeus Kotik on Caldey Island, which welcomes 50,000 visitors a year.
The 2.18 square kilometer island is owned by Cistercian monks.
An independent review in 2024 found the victims were treated in a hostile and cruel manner, with reports of abuse not passed on to police.
Prospective staff on the island are now required to undergo background checks and be interviewed by the island manager and the abbot.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed there are no further investigations ongoing and that all relevant lines of enquiry had been followed.
