Academic sacked by uni over ‘racist’ tweet defended by man being criticised

A right-wing commentator said an academic’s trust was ‘plainly racist’ in calling him a ‘house negro’.
Aysha Khanom was sacked from her advisory role at Leeds Beckett University in February over the comment in a tweet by The Race Trust, which she runs.
