As Filipinos reflected on the year’s biggest stories, Google released its annual Year In Search lists.

Gemini AI topped the overall trending keywords. Eala ranked as the fourth most searched sports figure in the country, just behind “OKC vs Indiana,” “Pacquiao vs Barrios” and “NBA standings 2025.”
