Amazon driver caught on camera ‘stealing woman’s cat outside her house’

This is the moment an Amazon delivery driver allegedly steals a woman’s beloved cat from outside her house while dropping off a package.

Diane Huff Medina from Lakewood, California, shared the video on Facebook in a desperate plea to help locate her missing cat, Piper.

The Ring doorbell footage shows a person wearing a Hi-Vis vest placing a package on Diane’s front porch and turning to leave.

Piper can be heard meowing in the background as the delivery driver walks over to her, seemingly stroking the pet.

The driver then reportedly picked up the cat by the neck and walked away.

Diane told KABC-TV: ‘I thought he was just petting her for a second.

‘I had to rewatch it a couple of times because it is hard to see, it’s dark, and he doesn’t carry her very nicely.

‘I see her little tail and I was like ‘Oh my God’, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.’

She wrote on the Facebook post, accompanied by two photos of Piper: ‘We just want her back home safely.’

In an update, Diane commented: ‘The person responsible was found and charges are being filed.

‘Piper is still missing.’
