Angelina Jolie stepped into a different kind of arena this past weekend, not for a red carpet or a film premiere, but to show full support for her son Knox, who celebrated his 17th birthday by clinching a win in a Muay Thai competition.
On July 12, Jolie was seen attending the IKF Point Muay Thai Technical Tournament held at the University of Southern California. The date also happened to be a special one for the family, which was the shared birthday of Knox and his twin sister, Vivienne.

Though there were no official photos of Jolie and Knox side by side during the event, fans caught glimpses of the duo with their trainers. Their presence, even without fanfare, spoke volumes. Jolie’s quiet support for her children has long been noted, and this moment was no exception.
According to Hola!, the Academy Award-winning actress and her son spent the birthday weekend in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, running errands together and stopping by a local grocery store and magazine stand.
Jolie, mother of six, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, has continued to raise her children mostly away from the public eye, especially since her split with ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2016.

While Knox has largely remained silent about his parents’ highly publicized divorce, some of his siblings have been more vocal. Several have reportedly dropped the “Pitt” surname or expressed emotional distance from their father.
