Ariana Grande is trading her microphone, at least temporarily, for another movie set.

After dazzling audiences as Glinda in the Wicked film adaptation, the pop icon is stepping into the hilariously chaotic world of the Fockers in “Focker In-Law,” the latest installment of the “Meet the Parents” franchise.

The official Instagram account for “Focker In-Law” made the announcement with a cast reveal video set to Randy Newman’s “A Fool in Love.”

“The Focker family is expanding. See #FockerInLaw only in theaters Thanksgiving 2026,” the post teased.

Joining franchise regulars Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo and Owen Wilson is none other than Grande herself.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grande’s character will be a “ball-busting” partner whose presence promises to ruffle feathers and spark the kind of laugh-out-loud family dysfunction the series is known for.

Despite her increasingly busy film schedule, the singer wants fans to know that her love for music hasn’t wavered. In an Instagram post in July, she addressed concerns about a possible music hiatus.

“Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music … !!!” she wrote.

Grande emphasized that while her approach to music may evolve, it remains an essential part of who she is.

“It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it,” she shared, adding, “It may not look exactly like it did before but I much prefer how it looks in my head. I am having fun. I feel grateful and excited and inspired. :)”

Fans can rest assured that Grande is finding a rhythm between her acting endeavors and musical aspirations. “So I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. Even if it’s just for a little. I love you,” she concluded.

With “Focker In-Law” on the horizon and new music in the works, Grande continues to strike a balance her way.
