As an NHS doctor, I’m undervalued and overworked – so I’m moving abroad

After 12 years of brutal service, I am leaving my NHS post as an emergency department consultant to work abroad.
My decision to leave is driven by financial and personal reasons. More than anything, I’m tired and have little more left to give to the NHS.
