The award-winning Filipino adult-animated documentary, “58th,” will be featured in a week-long screening in Glendale, California, from Oct. 23 to 29.

Directed by Carl Joseph Papa, “58th” tells the story of the victims of the 2009 Maguindanao massacre, which killed dozens of journalists. The film also highlights efforts to recognize photojournalist Reynaldo “Bebot” Momay as the massacre’s 58th victim.

The biographical film was one of the big winners at this year’s Manila International Film Festival, taking home Best Documentary Picture, Best Director and the Shining a Light Award, which was received by Momay’s daughter Reynafe Castillo.
