A one-year-old baby was taken to hospital with facial injuries after a dog bit his face as he sat in a pushchair, according to the police.
The boy suffered two small puncture wounds and grazing to his face after the dog, reportedly a German Shepherd, lunged at him in Southampton, Hampshire, police said.
He was later taken to hospital as a precaution, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary explained.
It is now trying to identify who was responsible for the dog at the time.
Today the force released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to speak to about the incident, which happened in Shirley Precinct at around 3.20pm on August 21.

She is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, and of large build.
The force also said the dog was wearing a soft mesh-style muzzle at the time.
A police spokesperson said: ‘If this is you, or if you know the woman, please call police on 101, quoting 44260407684.
‘Also, if you witnessed the incident, or have any relevant information, please contact us.’
