Big rise in firms in Wales in significant financial distress
The number of firms in significant financial distress in Wales has climbed to more than 17,000 as the economic impact of the pandemic bites.
New research from insolvency firm Begbie Traynor shows that 17,450 firms in Wales were in significant financial distress in the third quarter of this year, a rise of 6% of Q2 (16,435).
Compared to the 3Q of 2019 the number has risen by 15% from 15,131.
