The global rise of P-pop was on full display in California as BINI and SB19 drew sold-out crowds during a weekend of performances at Graton Resort & Casino’s The Event venue.
The country’s two biggest P-pop acts took over the Rohnert Park venue on consecutive days. BINI performed on Friday, while SB19 followed with shows on Saturday and Sunday.
The back-to-back concerts arrived at a time when both acts are enjoying career-defining moments overseas.
BINI recently became the first Filipino act to perform at Coachella, while SB19 added another historic achievement by becoming the first Filipino artist to appear at Lollapalooza.

During BINI’s “Signal Tour” stop, BINI’s Colet highlighted the significance of both groups performing at the same venue within a day of each other.
“(It’s great) sama-sama tayo dito (we are here together) to bring Filipino music on the global stage,” she said. Maloi also asked the audience to cheer for the group taking over the stage the following day, telling Blooms, “Give it up for SB19!”
Hours after BINI concluded its performance, SB19 welcomed fans for its “I Was There Thanksgiving Fanmeet,” an event designed to be more interactive than a traditional concert.
Summer Sonic 2026
The momentum is set to continue this week as both groups head to Japan for Summer Sonic 2026, one of Asia’s largest music festivals.
BINI is scheduled to perform in Osaka on Aug. 14 from 2:40 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. JST at Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park. Then, they take the stage in Tokyo on Aug. 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. JST at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe.
SB19 will likewise appear in both festival cities. The group is set to perform on the Massive Stage in Osaka on Aug. 14 from 6:05 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. JST, before heading to Tokyo’s Pacific Stage on Aug. 15 from 5:50 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. JST.
