BINI and SB19 treated fans to an unexpected yet welcome crossover in California as the two P-pop groups reunited ahead of their respective performances at this year’s Summer Sonic Festival in Japan.
Before BINI took the stage for the Rohnert Park stop of their “Signals” World Tour, members of both acts spent time together filming social media content inspired by their latest songs.

The collaboration featured BINI’s “Step Back” and SB19’s recently released track “Lawless.”
After spending time together earlier in the day, SB19 members Justin, Josh and Stell were later spotted in the audience during BINI’s concert in Rohnert Park, cheering on the girl group as they continued the North American leg of their world tour.
The reunion comes at a significant moment for both acts as they prepare to perform at Summer Sonic 2026, one of Japan’s biggest and most internationally recognized music festivals.
BINI is set to appear on two festival dates. The group will perform in Osaka on Aug. 14 from 2:40 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. JST at Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park before heading to Tokyo, where they are scheduled to take the stage on Aug. 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. JST at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe.
SB19, meanwhile, will also have a two-city run at the festival. The group is slated to perform on the Massive Stage in Osaka on Aug. 14 from 6:05 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. JST, followed by a performance on the Pacific Stage in Tokyo on Aug. 15 from 5:50 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. JST.
