Birmingham planners back housing and supermarket scheme
City planners have handed the green light to a long-awaited regeneration project in Birmingham. Once mooted to be the home of a new Tesco superstore, the plot on the corner of Hazelwell Lane and Pershore Road, Stirchley, is now set to house a supermarket, gym, 3,000 sq ft of retail and up to 87 houses of two to four bedrooms.
