A 14-year-old boy has been charged after a teenager died in a collision between an e-scooter and a car in Wythenshawe.
Jacob Calland, 14, was a passenger on the e-scooter when it crashed at around 4pm on March 19 last year.
The e-scooter came to rest on a third vehicle on Southmoor Road.
His family described him as a ‘bright, loving young boy whose life was tragically cut short’.

A boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was today charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving unlicensed and causing death by driving uninsured.
He has been released on bail and will appear in court next month.
