Brits bought 1,400,000,000 fewer pints in pubs last year compared to 2019

Sales of one of the nation’s favourite tipples, the humble pint, were down 38% in 2021 compared to 2019, the British Beer and Pub Association has said.
Pubs suffered a loss of £5.7 billion from beer sales alone last year, the equivalent of 1.4 billion fewer pints sold, according to the organisation.
