K-pop supergroup BTS officially opened a new chapter in their musical journey with the unveiling of the album cover for their upcoming fifth full-length record, “ARIRANG,” set for release on March 20.

The reveal not only introduced the album’s visual identity but also offered fans an unexpected, interactive experience that further deepened anticipation for the project.

The album cover was revealed through BTS’ official website, where BigHit Music showcased a stark and textured grayscale design. The title “ARIRANG” stands prominently in bold, uppercase lettering.

RM shared his thoughts on the album’s ultimate goal. “We hope ARIRANG of BTS will be an album that transcends time and generations and sticks with you for a long long time,” he said. His words frame the project as something meant to live on beyond trends, positioning it as a lasting body of work rather than a momentary release.

SUGA offered insight into the creative process behind the album, revealing the scope of the project and the conversations that shaped it. “After many conversations, we made 14 tracks that capture the stories of the seven of us,” he said.

For V, the album carries particular emotional weight, marking a long-awaited reunion in the group’s discography.

“This is our full group album as a group in 3 years and 9 months, we spent a lot of time thinking about the group’s roots and identity,” V said.
