K-pop supergroup BTS addressed both their postponed comeback and the emotional weight of waiting with leader RM openly calling for more care from their company, HYBE.

During a Weverse livestream, the group spoke directly to fans about why their return as a full unit has been delayed. RM did not shy away from expressing how the situation has affected him, saying, “I wish our company would show us a little more affection.”

The comment surfaced as the members explained that while preparations are ongoing, the timing is yet to be finalized.

While acknowledging that “the company does work hard for us,” RM added that he wished the label would “take a little better care of us and be more nurturing.”

“Let 2026 be the year of BTS. Something really big is coming,” he said, immediately lifting the mood. J-Hope echoed the sentiment with a hint of awe, remarking, “It’s hard to believe that 2025 is already over.”

The livestream also highlighted how the group has been staying connected behind the scenes.

According to Jimin, the members are actively “practicing together and spending time as a group,” a reassurance that BTS remains tightly bonded despite the delay. RM, meanwhile, shared a personal update outside music that is deeply meaningful to him. “I got my driver’s license. I’m not planning to buy a car, but I wanted to overcome a kind of trauma,” he revealed.

In 2026, the group is planning around 65 shows across the globe, including more than 30 stops in North America.

If these plans push through, it will be their first full-group concert tour since the record-breaking “Permission to Dance on Stage” series that attracted over four million fans worldwide.
