Each BTS member has continued to make history in music across the globe, even while fulfilling their military duties. Despite being away from the spotlight for two years, their influence remained undeniable through solo projects, chart-topping releases and international recognition.
Now that all seven members have completed their mandatory service, ARMYs worldwide are eagerly anticipating what’s being hailed as the group’s most monumental comeback yet.
World tour and new album
According to a recent Bloomberg report, the K-pop icons are set to embark on a massive world tour in 2026. The tour is said to feature around 65 shows globally, with more than 30 performances in North America.
The reported tour will coincide with the release of their new full-length album in March 2026, marking the group’s first album in six years since BE in 2020.
This highly anticipated return will follow the completion of military service by all seven members, Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, with the final discharges expected by June 2025. The group’s reunion was officially confirmed during a Weverse livestream in July 2025, where the members greeted fans together for the first time since 2022.
“Hey guys, we are back,” Jimin said during the broadcast. The members also teased that a world tour is in the works.
“We’re also planning a world tour alongside the album,” they said. “We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
Official details ‘remain unconfirmed’
While ARMYs across the globe are thrilled by the news, Big Hit Music quickly urged fans to manage expectations.
“Details regarding the dates and scale of BTS’ new world tour remain unconfirmed,” the agency stated via The Independent.
If realized, this tour would mark BTS’ first full-group concert series since their ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ tour, which drew over four million fans. Reports also suggest that the group may perform in cities they’ve never visited before, such as Sydney and Mumbai.
As of October 2025, the seven members have been seen regrouping in Los Angeles, reportedly to begin recording for their new project.
