Business leaders from across region demand Chancellor’s March Budget is a ‘budget for the north’

The chairs of the 11 local enterprise partnerships across the North of England have called on the Government’s March budget to represent a “budget for the north”.

The group, formally known as the Northern Powerhouse 11 (NP11), met with government ministers and northern MPs in Parliament on Monday to outline proposals for levelling up the UK’s economy.
