Cable firm JDR wins work on massive floating wind farm
A North East cable firm has won a major contract for a floating wind farm.
JDR Cable Systems Ltd, which has a based at Hartlepool as well as a site in Newcastle, has signed a contract with multinational energy firm Equinor for the Hywind Tampen project, a £400m floating wind farm in the North Sea that will power oil and gas platforms.
