California Senate bill could shift oil cleanup costs to taxpayers – Center for Biological Diversity

SACRAMENTO, Calif.– Last-minute amendments to Senate Bill 1012 in the California legislature threaten to shift the massive costs of cleaning up oil industry wells to taxpayers.
