A Center Parcs guest has accused the holiday provider of a ‘terrible’ visit after a spate of issues with the waterpark.

The family attraction has come under fire from a disappointed visitor after alleged problems at the Center Parcs Longleat Swimming Paradise.

Center Parcs’ popular Longleat Forest in Wiltshire features adventure grounds, a giant redwood forest, accommodation, and lakes across 400 acres.

One guest took to Reddit to complain about a visit yesterday, claiming there were issues with the rapids, jacuzzis, children’s pool and wave machine among others.

‘The rapids are shut intermittently, and so slow that everyone is getting stuck halfway down the slopes.

‘Both jacuzzis are closed. The cold plunge is closed. The kids’ mushroom pool area is closed.

‘Bubbles do not come on anymore in the outside section.

‘The wave machine is like once every 2 hours now.

‘Even the machine pulling the rafts up to Cyclone is broken, meaning everyone has to carry the 4-man rafts up themselves.

‘I queried this with one of the lifeguards, there were 8ish of them hysterically laughing, all around 18-22, and got no response other than “technical issues”.’

The visitor added that ‘this is absolutely terrible.’

‘We have been coming on-and-off for decades but decided this is our last trip ever,’ they said.

A spokesperson for Center Parcs told Metro: ‘We’re committed to providing a great experience for all our guests, and this includes carrying out essential maintenance works, which can occasionally result in some of our experiences being temporarily closed.

‘Our outdoor and indoor pools and areas, including the Cold Plunge and Wave Pool, are open as usual, and the Cyclone raft conveyor is now working as normal.

‘Venture Bay and our indoor Hot Whirlpool remain temporarily closed while maintenance works continue. We are working to reopen these experiences as soon as possible, while ensuring they’re operating to the high standards our guests expect.’

Center Parcs UK resorts welcome over two million guests ever year, and visits are sought after especially during school holidays.
