Chapman forecasts continued recovery through 2022
The local and national economies will continue growing at a brisk clip through 2022, although consumers will be plagued by persistently high inflation, Chapman University economists forecast Tuesday, Dec. 14.
And as interest rates go up to combat inflation, house prices will go down, with the risk of recession looming by 2023, Chapman forecasters said.
