The Chicago Transit Authority is hitting the market with $ 880 million in new money and paying off sales tax-backed bonds after changing its COVID-19-battered budget that remains on track thanks to federal aid.
The timing of the deal or the intended use of its products is unrelated to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the authority.
