Co-op says new Conwy store for eyesore site could open next year

Co-op says it will invest £600,000 and create 20 jobs if planning is secured for a new store in Conwy.

The land in the shadow of Conwy castle was home to Billington’s Garage but it closed in 2007 and was demolished five years later.  It has stayed empty since then and remains an eyesore in the area.
