Commuters brace for London Underground strikes across TfL network

Londoners and tourists are set to face travel carnage for the next few days as the tube strikes hit the entirety of the London Underground network.

From 12pm today, drivers who are members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) will start their first 24-hour tube strike following a dispute over hours.

They’ll then walk out again from 12pm on Thursday for another 24 hours.

Other TfL services including Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground and Trams will be running normally however they are likely to be very busy.

People who are travelling around London today are advised to check tfl.gov.uk/strikes before venturing out.
