Construction firm starts work on new £9.5m police station

A construction giant has started work on a new £9.5 million police station in Derby.

Towards the end of last year, Derbyshire Constabulary signed contracts with the landowner Ivygrove Developments paving the way for the new station to be built at Dunstall Park, a vacant former Rolls-Royce car park.
