Cranswick sales soar 21 per cent to £931.6m
Sales have soared by more than 20 per cent for sausage specialist Cranswick as exceptionally robust demand was driven by lockdown.
Turnover for the crucial six months sizzled to £931.6 million – from £770 million – with the half year aligned to the lockdown period.
In the results to September 26, operating profit was up 30.8 per cent to £62 million (2019 £47.4m) with margins also widening.
