Department store chain Debenhams is poised to file for administration, it has been reported.
It is understood the struggling retailer could appoint administrators next week, having already placed business advisors KPMG on standby.
Debenhams has said it is “making contingency plans” in a bid to secure the future of the retailer, who employs around 22,000 people across its stores.
