Decision made on future of huge North Lincolnshire cement works
Cemex has confirmed it is to mothball its South Ferriby Cement plant, with the loss of 110 jobs.
The Mexican operator said the majority of redundancies will be made at the North Lincolnshire site this month.
A consultation was launched in May following a review of the European cement supply chain, with bosses stating the decision was not linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
