Two of London’s biggest stations are facing delays this morning after a points failure.

The points failure, between Sutton and West Croydon, means the line towards West Croydon is currently closed.

It’s impacting Southern services between Epsom Downs or Sutton and London Victoria, as well as between Epsom and London Bridge.

There are also delays between Sutton and West Croydon and between Epsom Downs and Selhurst.

The issue is expected to last until about 8am, well into the morning rush hour.

Meanwhile, on the London Underground, there is once again a part suspension on the Piccadilly line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge after falling leaves caused ‘difficult track conditions’.
