Does that say ‘Stacebs Space Force’? (Picture: realDonaldTrump/Truth Social)

The President of the United States of America has been posting incomprehensible AI slop again.

In a period lasting just under an hour and a quarter on Sunday afternoon, no fewer than 19 AI-generated posts popped up on Donald Trump’s Truth Social feed.

They ranged from boasts about sinking Iranian warships to mocked-up photos defending his controversial renovation of a reflecting pool in the center of Washington DC.

But perhaps the most eye-catching picture features Trump walking on a military base surrounded by men in sharp suits and sunglasses – alongside a tall grey alien.

The low-quality image has been generated to look like a secretly captured photograph, with blurry fingers obscuring part of the view.

It may be an effort to remind people of the so-called ‘UFO files’ released earlier this month, which appear to have failed to distract Americans from the Iran War.

Documents from the newly renamed Department of War revealed astronauts on the Apollo missions had seen mysterious lights in space… and also that the Nazis tried to build a UFO during the Second World War.

Other posts from yesterday’s slop spree placed Trump on some kind of ship in orbit around the Earth, highlighting his role in creating the US Space Force.

In one, he presses a big red button while sitting at a desk with four extremely tiny generals beside him.

On screens to his rear, explosions can be seen destroying part of the planet’s surface – while two mini explosions confusingly take place on the desk.

But seriously, why are those generals so small (Picture: realDonaldTrump/Truth Social)

The President has long been a fan of AI-generated images on his social media, and has been deploying them more frequently in recent months.

In a similar spree on May 9, he visualised his eyebrow-raising simile of Iranian drones falling into the ocean like dying butterflies and posted mock-ups of a UFC fighting stage on the White House lawn.

But it’s the less obviously misleading posts that may raise more eyebrows.

Amid the AI nonsense, he also included a bar chart comparing the length of the Iran War to other multinational conflicts.

It says the Middle East ‘excursion’ has lasted just six weeks, compared to 196 for the Second World War and 209 weeks for the US Civil War.

However, the war has actually been going on for ten weeks since beginning at the end of February… and Trump initially claimed it would only go on for four.
