Shocking footage shows the behavior of Jamie Lee Komoroski when she was arrested for killing a new bride on her wedding night.

Komoroski, 27, got behind the wheel of her rented Toyoto Camry after drinking in Folly Beach, Carolina, driving 65mph in a 25mph area.

She collided into a golf cart carrying the bride Samantha Hutchinson, 34, groom Aric Hutchinson, 36, and two wedding guests as they left their beachside wedding reception on April 28, 2023.

She was later sentenced to 25 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to felony DUI, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury or death, and reckless homicide.

Footage from Komoroski’s arrest shows her pleading with officers at Folly Beach police station to call her father, and claiming ‘nobody had any proof’ she did anything wrong.

Bodycam footage, shared by Live 5 News, shows the then 25-year-old screaming ‘is she okay’ before telling officers that she had had one drink and a beer in the last hour.

Another video shared by the outlet shows Komoroski asked to call her father, before arguing with officers when they refused.

‘I can’t call my dad?’ she asked, before stating, ‘Well, what did I do?’

‘Nobody has any proof of anything that I did, so give me the right to call my dad,’ she defiantly stated.

As she was taken into custody, Komoroski can be heard claiming she ‘didn’t do anything wrong.’

At the police station, she cried and continued to complain to officers, stating, ‘I just wanna like, get this over with and go home.’

Spotting the camera, she ranted: ‘Oh, hi camera, yeah I’m crying because he’s not letting me call my f****** father, even though they haven’t proven s*** and don’t have any right for me not to be able to contact my family or anyone that I want to, so yeah, hello, I’m crying.’

In a mocking tone, she added: ‘Ooh, I’m being just a little baby,’ New York Post reports.

She also asked officers at the station: ‘Why are you being so mean? Why can’t I just call my dad?’

Aric Hutchinson suffered a brain injury and broken bones. He filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Komoroski in May 2023.

According to court documents obtained by WCBD in Charleston, Komoroski admitted to officers that she drank one beer and one tequila before driving, but ‘strongly refused and became uncooperative’ when asked to take a field sobriety test.

The arresting officer testified that Komoroski had trouble standing and strongly smelled of alcohol. She was arrested and taken to Charleston County Jail, where she was given a court-ordered blood test for alcohol.

Results from the test showed that Komoroski had a blood-alcohol level of 0.261 – more than three times the legal limit to drive.

Four people were in the golf cart, including the newlywed bride and groom. The victims were identified as Samantha Hutchinson, her new husband Aric Hutchinson, the groom’s brother-in-law Benjamin Garrett, and his son, Brogan Garrett.

Samantha was killed in the wreck. Both Hutchinson and Benjamin Garrett were hospitalised in serious condition, the groom’s mother Annette Hutchinson wrote in a post on GoFundMe.
