A drunk driver tried to escape prosecution by saying he didn’t know e-scooters counted as motor vehicles.
Pawel Szmydyki, 31, was fined £420 and banned from the roads after he was caught driving ‘erratically’ at twice the drink-drive limit in Southampton.
The bricklayer complained he was ‘not aware’…
