Economic activity shrank in Q1 in Yorkshire and Humber
Yorkshire and the Humber’s economy shrank during the first quarter of 2019, new figures show.
Data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed that, in the three months to March 2019, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Yorkshire and the Humber dropped by 0.2 per cent.
That follows a positive growth of 0.5 per cent in the last quarter of 2018.
