European markets set to rise with economic data at center – CNBC
European markets opened higher on Thursday as investors monitor key economic data from around the world.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 added 1% at the start of trading, as travel and entertainment securities jumped 1.6% to lead gains as all sectors and major stock markets entered positive territory.
