European markets slip after U.S. tech stocks sell off – Aberdeen Evening Express
European markets fell into the red after a sell-off in US tech stocks that caused sentiment to drop across the board.
London markets were slightly shielded by stronger mining stocks, but nonetheless ended lower as declining confidence in Silicon Valley companies continued.
The FTSE 100 closed 51.78 points lower at 5,799.08 at the end of the session on Friday.
