European stock markets fall ahead of ECB update – Yahoo News
European stocks fell on Thursday, with dealers reserving profits as the ECB prepared to take stock of measures to tackle the economic fallout triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.
At the start of the afternoon, the Frankfurt DAX 30 had lost 0.6% and the Paris CAC 40 0.8%.
Outside the eurozone, London’s FTSE 100 index fell 0.5%.
The euro was up against the pound but down against the dollar.
