European stocks drop following Britain’s quarantine – Taipei Times
European stocks slipped on Friday as travel stocks slumped after Britain added more countries to its quarantine list, while weak data around the world raised doubts over the pace of economic recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 1.2% to 368.07 as travel and leisure vouchers fell 2.3%, leading to sector losses.
