San Francisco’s I-Hotel Manilatown Center announced that the art exhibit titled, “Inday: Manilatown Celebrates Women’s History Month,” will be extended through April 30, due to overwhelming community response.
A special artist roundtable is set to take place at the venue on April 26.
The exhibit instantly sold out on its opening night event on Feb. 28. The event featured special performances by the Manilatown Jazz Ensemble and the Manilatown Ancestral Ensemble.
The event gathered artists, community leaders and more in celebration of women’s voices and cultural contributions.
The exhibit spotlights Fil-Am female artists and their works, including paintings, textile arts, ceramics, photography and more. Artworks center around intergenerational stories of migration, identity, perseverance and cultural pride.
The exhibit also highlights the I-Hotel Manilatown Center as a vital space for community and cultural advocacy.

- Maya Crolene
- Maria Luisa Escalambre
- Jeanette Gandionco Lazam
- Glady Lee
- Caroline Ocampo
- Annie Panlibutan-Keas
Online registration is open for the artist roundtable, hosted by the Manilatown Heritage Foundation.
