Filipino Canadian singer-songwriter Mico is kicking off a new era in his music journey with a surprise collaboration with eaJ (Jae Park, formerly of DAY6).
They have come together for “Ever After,” a track that drops just as Mico geared up for his highly anticipated “Internet Hometown Hero World Tour” in North America.
In an Instagram announcement, he shared his excitement about the timing, writing: “Ever After comes out + tour starts tomorrow. So excited to start a new chapter with all of you for the next 4 months on the road <3.”

He hinted that this release marks only the beginning of a creative wave, promising fans more surprises during his months-long tour across North America and Europe.

Mico also explained that “Ever After” had been living in his mind for quite some time. The song, along with a handful of others written after completing his “2023 EP Internet Hometown Hero,” didn’t quite fit within that project’s narrative.
Instead of shelving them, he decided it was the right time to let them shine. “There’s a couple songs like this that we wrote last year after most of Internet hometown hero was already done … I’m gonna let a few of those songs shine in the next few months until I’m ready to show you all something new :).”
The young artist also expressed deep gratitude to eaJ for lending his voice to the single, admitting that the track might not have been released without his contribution. “Thank u to @eajpark for lending ur lovely voice to this song (tbh I would not have put it out if u weren’t apart of the final version LOL ur talent blows me away),” mico said.
Mico’s “Internet Hometown Hero World Tour” kicked off in Montreal, QC on Sept. 5 and will run through North America and Europe, with multiple shows already sold out or close to selling out.
