Bustos took home two major recognitions during the prestigious ceremony, Best Editing as a People’s Voice Winner and Best Series as a Webby Winner. The dual win further underscores his influence in the online space, particularly in producing science-driven and nature-focused content that has built a strong global following.

In an Instagram post following the event, Bustos reflected on the experience and the long journey behind his work. He described the night as “certainly an evening to remember” and shared that it was an honor at the Webby Awards held in New York City.

He also opened up about the effort behind his content, pointing out that years of “copious hours of video editing over bottomless coffee at 4AM in the morning” may not be glamorous, but are part of the reality behind his creative process.
The creator further expressed gratitude to the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and the Webbys for the recognition. He noted that the achievement felt like “a victory for science and us biology nerds,” highlighting the educational value behind his work. Bustos ended his message on a signature note, saying “Ant love forever!”
