Financial distress rising but ‘the flood could be yet to come’
Despite Government initiatives to protect business from the effects of Covid-induced lockdown, financial problems among Humber businesses increased by 6 per cent in the second quarter of 2020.
Almost 1,400 firms are now in significant distress, according to the latest research from leading independent insolvency and restructuring business advisory firm Begbies Traynor Group.
