First parts of £1.4bn Mayfield development look set to go ahead
Plans for the first parts of a £1.4bn regeneration of the “forgotten” area behind Manchester’s Piccadilly Station look set to go ahead.
Mayfield Partnership, comprised of developer U+I, London and Continental Railways, Manchester city council and Transport for Greater Manchester, submitted plans to “transform” Mayfield into a mixed-use neighbourhood in October 2019.
